Delivery and Installation Options

Here at Safe and Vault Store.com, we like to deliver on what we promise so we have laid out all the information you never knew you wanted on our safe and vault delivery options. Given that large safes may weight several hundred (if not a thousand) pounds, the delivery can prove quite tricky.

Up to 100 lbs – for smaller safes, we contract to UPS or FedEx to deliver the safes to the front door of your home or business during normal business hours. While you may require a dolly or some help to get this into place, 100 pounds is fairly manageable for most people For Safe over 100 lbs, we use YRC or USF Reddeway common freight carrier. These safes are delivered on a wood pallet to the curb where your driveway meets your street. If you are interested in garage deliver, you will need to pay an additional fee of $25 as this requires additional equipment and people to facilitate this.

Garage Delivery: REQUIREMENTS: ($25.00 ADDITIONAL FEE. Select this option on the product page) Access to an "overhead" garage door is required and must be over pavement or concrete.  Excessively steep driveways are NOT included in this service and would require GOLD or PLATINUM White Glove Inside Delivery. (see below).

• Roads with excessive turns and no turn around area, or extremely long driveways are not included in this service.
• Excessively steep driveways (2% Grade or more) are NOT included in this service and would require GOLD or PLATINUM White Glove Inside Delivery. (see below).
• Remote areas require an additional fee by freight company. Call us at: 800-207-2259 to confirm if your area is "Remote"

Gold White Glove Inside Delivery: OUR GOLD WHITE GLOVE INSIDE DELIVERY TEAM WILL:

• Schedule business or home delivery appointments at your convenience.
• Complete the job to your specifications as directed on the delivery form.
• Treat your home or business as we would our own.

Terms:

• Transit and delivery times for home delivery services are estimated and are not guaranteed.
• All deliveries are appointed or delivered within 10 days of the White Glove installers receiving your freight.
• All Gold White Glove deliveries are made Monday thru Friday between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
• Once the White Glove installer has the freight, there will be a redelivery fee if the freight is refused at the time of delivery due to no fault of SafeandVaultStore. If the delivery is cancelled after an appointment has been made, a dock handling or re-consignment fee ($90.00) will be billed to the customer.

Platinum White Glove Inside Delivery: PLATINUM White Glove Inside Delivery is available in most areas for an additional cost and includes all the GOLD White Glove Inside Delivery service PLUS anchoring of your product into concrete or wood floors.  This is a PREMIUM service and generally costs $500 or more depending on the weight of the safe and the difficulty of the installation. Please download our Platinum Inside Delivery Form to receive a quote for Inside Delivery and Installation. All safes that weigh more than 799 lbs. must have PLATINUM White Glove Inside Delivery. 

PLATINUM White Glove Inside Delivery is for situations where a safe must be lifted onto a high pedestal/platform, more than (2) flights of stairs or 25 steps and/or requires special equipment.  The preferred method of obtaining a quote and scheduling for inside delivery is available for an additional cost and can be quoted by calling us at 1-800-207-2259.  A Safe Consultant will ask you some questions and then get back to you with a CUSTOM Inside Delivery quote.
