Both the HS-500 and the HS-310 are available with either an E designation which means it comes with a quick access electronic lock. Or with a D designation, meaning that it has a high-quality metal dial and key lock.
Hollon HS-310 2 Hour Home Safe Review
The Hollon HS-310 is perfect for letter-sized documents in the bottom. It has a drawer at the top for more valuables. It is also large enough to hold letter documents. On the door, you'll find key holders.
Hollon HS-500 2 Hour Home Safe Review
The Hollon HS-500 comes with one removable shelf. If you take that shelf out, you're left with enough room for legal document binders. Up top, you'll find a plastic drawer, just like on the HS-310, where you can hold more important documents or valuables. If you look at the door, you'll find the same key holder that was available on the HS-310.
There are many great choices for home fire protection
The HS series is my choice for home fire protection because they sport 2-hour fire ratings, tested at one thousand eight hundred and fifty degrees which is higher than most in the industry. The 310 and the 500 are two of the smaller safes in this series from Hollon.
