The MBF5922 passed a fire endurance test in an independent laboratory, and was tested in a gas furnace at temperatures up to 1750 degrees F for a period of 60 minutes. The body and walls of this small gun safe are made of high strength double wall 12 gauge steel. The door is 3-3/4" thick with an additional thick steel plate that is nearly 1/4" thick. The body of this gun safe is 1 1/2 thick. Additional security measures include seven (7) active 1.5" thick steel moving locking bolts, along with five (5) 1.5" thick steel non moving locking bolts to prevent door removal during a forced entry attempt. The locking mechanism is protected by a heavy duty, drill resistant hard plate and an internal re-locking device provides a secondary line of defense against a break-in. The MBF5922 also has four recessed anchor bolt holes to securely anchor the safe to the floor. This safe comes standard with a Digital Electronic Lock or Combination Lock.
Along with the added security features this gun safe offers, it blends seamlessly with any decor. It comes standard in a black matte powder coated finish, along with decorative gold trim on the door and a brass tri-spoke handle. The inside of the safe is fully upholstered with light colored synthetic carpeting that resists stains. The carpeting is included on the shelves, walls and door panel.
This gun safe will hold up to 14 long guns and rifles (without scopes) with the included standard gun rack package. The shelves are movable up or down depending on your needs and can be removed to allow more room for your guns.

Small Package Delivery (150 lbs. and Under)
Small package delivery is a free service offered by SafeandVaultStore.com. All packages less than 150 pounds are delivered to your home or business front door via UPS or FedEx during normal business hours. There is no advance appointment call made. No signature is required.
Changing Your Address
If you need to change your address after your order has shipped, additional fees may apply. Please note that changing the address with FedEx is not guaranteed. You can create a FedEx Delivery Manager account, which allows you to change the shipping method to a FedEx Hold Location (ex: local Walgreens).
Curbside Delivery (Over 150 lbs.)
Curbside delivery is a free service offered by SafeandVaultStore.com. Any shipments 151 pounds or larger are delivered via freight companies such as YRC, XPO, USF Reddaway, or other common freight carriers and delivered curbside. The safes and vault doors are delivered on a wood pallet, curbside, where your driveway meets the street. The freight company will call to schedule an appointment within an 8-hour window. IMPORTANT NOTE: The delivery staff will not take your safe or vault door any further than curbside if this is the service you order. Freight companies will not deliver to your driveway on a Dead End road or Cul de Sac. They will only deliver to County, City, or State roads. They will not deliver to a congested downtown area with no parking or a Doorman Condo or Apartment. Garage/Threshold Delivery or White Glove Inside Delivery are available for an extra charge if you need special delivery services. Our trucks with liftgates will only handle safes up to 2000 pounds. Safes over 2000 pounds will require a forklift or loading dock on site to receive the safe. If you do not have either of these items, we can recommend a company in your local area that can deliver your safe inside.
