Intense Construction Techniques Ensure Premiere Strength and Protection
As is standard for a Fort Knox safe, the Legend features strong fire protection with the brand-standard configuration of 90 minute fire rating, tested at outside temperatures up to 1680 degrees F. The Legend also comes with two layers of C-rated fire board and stainless steel reinforcement. The dual-thermal door also comes with a layer of hydrocarbon that expands upon being heated to provide further protection to the safe's contents in the case of an inferno.
Beyond the fire protection, the Legend comes with top-of-the-line craftsmanship to ensure the safety of the contents within. It has (28) 1-1/2" bolts and (4) corner bolts, and the recessed door is designed to stop pry attacks. The gears are nickel-plated and up to four layers of steel can be added to reinforce the already substantial inner body even further.

Small Package Delivery (150 lbs. and Under)
Small package delivery is a free service offered by SafeandVaultStore.com. All packages less than 150 pounds are delivered to your home or business front door via UPS or FedEx during normal business hours. There is no advance appointment call made. No signature is required.
Changing Your Address
If you need to change your address after your order has shipped, additional fees may apply. Please note that changing the address with FedEx is not guaranteed. You can create a FedEx Delivery Manager account, which allows you to change the shipping method to a FedEx Hold Location (ex: local Walgreens).
Curbside Delivery (Over 150 lbs.)
Curbside delivery is a free service offered by SafeandVaultStore.com. Any shipments 151 pounds or larger are delivered via freight companies such as YRC, XPO, USF Reddaway, or other common freight carriers and delivered curbside. The safes and vault doors are delivered on a wood pallet, curbside, where your driveway meets the street. The freight company will call to schedule an appointment within an 8-hour window. IMPORTANT NOTE: The delivery staff will not take your safe or vault door any further than curbside if this is the service you order. Freight companies will not deliver to your driveway on a Dead End road or Cul de Sac. They will only deliver to County, City, or State roads. They will not deliver to a congested downtown area with no parking or a Doorman Condo or Apartment. Garage/Threshold Delivery or White Glove Inside Delivery are available for an extra charge if you need special delivery services. Safes Over 2000 lbs.
Our trucks with liftgates will only handle safes up to 2000 pounds. Safes over 2000 pounds will require a forklift or loading dock on site to receive the safe. If you do not have either of these items, we can recommend a company in your local area that can deliver your safe inside.
