When you receive your new Vulcan Vault Door, it will come in a nice wooden crate to protect it from damage. Here are the steps to uncrate it.
- There are ten screws holding the lid on the vault door pallet (two each on the end and three on the sides).
- They are marked with paint to be easily located.
- Remove the ten screws and use two people to lift the lid up and off of the door.
- You will need a #20 Torx screwdriver bit.
- Be sure to lift the lid high enough to prevent contacting the doors finish (up to 18" should be sufficient).
