The Hydrosorbent SG-200 Silica Desiccant Gel Dehumidifier is rechargeable and will absorb moisture in enclosed areas (such as your safe) and prevent condensation, rust damage, mildew, corrosion, and spoilage. The 200-gram silica gel unit protects and is ideal for enclosed spaces up to 15 cubic feet.
The SG-200 is ideal for small to medium-sized safes, gun safes, etc.
Each unit has a built-in colored indicator that shows when they need to be reactivated in a conventional kitchen oven. It will turn from blue to pink to let you know that it has reached the maximum moisture saturation level.
The SG-200 can be recharged as often as needed for a lifetime of protection.
The Silica gel inside is non-toxic and inert. It will not emit harmful vapors, stain, or cause a chemical reaction.

Reactivation Instructions:
When the indicator circle in the center changes from blue to pink, the silica gel needs to be reactivated
Remove the silica gel bag from the outer carton and place it in a 240°F oven for approximately 3 hours. After heating, allow the bag to cool completely before handling. Once cooled, return the bag to the carton and keep it stored in a sealed container until you're ready to use it again. The indicator circles may take several hours to return to blue fully.
Helpful tip:
During initial use, the silica gel may saturate more quickly as it pulls existing moisture from the space. After that, the initial moisture is reduced, and reactivation is typically required less frequently to keep the area dry.
