The HDX-150 is designed for 1 handgun. It is 2.5" high, 8.5" wide and 11.5" long. It also features a biometric lock with quick 1-second access. This biometric lock works by using your forefinger and pulling it across the lock sensor. In addition, in case there was a failure of this lock, there is a key override that will open it up as shown here. The interior has a very nice foam protection surface. The Liberty HDX-150 pistol safe is built out of 14 gauge heavy-duty steel. It has a really nice powder coat finish. In addition, there is a hardened latch system which is the best latching system in the industry today. Very heavy gauge steel. Another nice feature is that you can order an A/C adapter so that you can plug it into 110V power and charge the batteries automatically. In case of a power outage, then it will still operate and function under the battery power. Finally, the biometric lock system will store up to 15 individual users. Biometric lock systems are all over the board as far as reliability.
