AMSEC has released the American Security BFX6024 Gun & Rifle Safe. This gun safe is one of the best gun safes made today in the industry. Its outside dimensions are 59.25" high by 24.00" wide by 21.00" deep, and it weighs 720 pounds. AMSEC's BFX6024 Gun & Rifle Safe offers a heavy-duty 3/8" steel plate door with two-way boltwork. It has a 2" thick body and has passed the UL Level 1 RSC Burglary Classification. The RSC Rating is a 1-man, 5-minute test that uses tools typically found in any home. It has 14 massive 1-1/2" chrome-plated locking bolts. The outside of the safe has an 11 gauge outer steel liner with a 12 gauge inner steel liner. This totals an approximate 1/4" steel barrier in the body.
The AMSEC BFX6024 Gun & Rifle Safe has a fire rating of up to two hours. It was tested using an independent lab, Intertek / ETL. This test confirmed that the BFX series gun safes outperform gun safes constructed with drywall. The safe has dual fire seals: the Palusol and Silicone door seals protect against fire and smoke.
The AMSEC BFX6024 Gun & Rifle Safe has excellent security protection and fire protection and is functional. It has the industry's most flexible interior. The Door Organizer comes standard on the door and can hold an additional two long guns on the door. A Spy-Proof key-locking dial with a decorative three-spoke handle comes standard. Several digital lock options are available for an extra cost. There is also a redundant lock option available as well. Other standard features include a mirrored back wall for interior visibility, an AC power outlet with a removable cord, and an LED light kit.
AMSEC includes two different warranties. A Lifetime Warranty against theft and fire. No Labor Charge, No Parts Charge, No Freight Charge. If the safe is in a fire, file an insurance claim with your insurance company and send a copy to AMSEC. They will send you a new safe at no charge. Please read all information on the type of delivery options you have for your order. The delivery of large safes is a very sensitive operation, and we supply this information to ensure you receive the product you ordered in the best condition possible for your delivery circumstance.
Types of Delivery Services (click the links below to skip to each section):
Small Package Delivery (150 lbs. and Under)
Small package delivery is a free service offered by Safe & Vault Store. All packages under 150 pounds are delivered to your home or business front door via UPS or FedEx during normal business hours. There is no advance appointment call made. No signature is required.
Changing Your Address
Additional fees may apply if you need to change your address after your order has shipped. Please note that changing the address with FedEx is not guaranteed. You can create a FedEx Delivery Manager account, which allows you to change the shipping method to a FedEx Hold Location (ex: local Walgreens).
Curbside Delivery (Over 150 lbs.)
Curbside delivery is a free service offered by Safe & Vault Store. Any shipments 151 pounds or larger shipments are delivered curbside via freight companies such as YRC, XPO, USF Reddaway, or other common freight carriers. The safes and vault doors are delivered on a wood pallet, curbside, where your driveway meets the street. The freight company will call to schedule an appointment within an 8-hour window. IMPORTANT NOTE: The delivery staff will not take your safe or vault door any further than curbside if this is the service you order. Freight companies will not deliver to your driveway on a dead-end road or Cul de Sac. They will only deliver to County, City, or State roads. They will not deliver to a congested downtown area without parking or a Doorman Condo or Apartment. Garage/Threshold Delivery or White Glove Inside Delivery are available for an extra charge if you need special delivery services. Please call 800-207-2259 for other delivery options if any of these cases apply to you.

Garage delivery is not guaranteed. It is not always available in all areas and is ultimately at the driver's discretion to complete. If the driver feels unsafe, the freight company will not be able to complete the garage delivery and will leave the safe at your curbside. We will refund you in full for the garage delivery if it cannot be completed. If you want to order garage delivery and are concerned that you might not meet the requirements, please call us at 800-207-2259 so we can determine the best option.
Safes Over 2000 lbs.
Our trucks with liftgates can only handle safes up to 2000 pounds. Safes over 2000 pounds require a forklift or loading dock on site to receive them. If you do not have either of these items, we can recommend a company in your local area that can deliver your safe inside.
