The Republic RG-22C Scratch & Dent fire rating has a 2-hour fire rating tested at temperatures up to 1400 degrees F. A heat-activated expandable intumescent door seal is designed to keep out smoke and water.
The burglar protection on the RG-22C far exceeds California Department of Justice Regulatory Standards for Residential Security Containers. It has 4-way boltwork with 14 - 1-1/2" active chrome-plated steel live locking bolts. This gives you coverage on all four sides of the door and protects against pry attacks. Behind the lock is a drill/ballistic resistant armored ball-bearing hard plate to protect the lock from drill/punch attacks. There is also an active spring-loaded re-locker as well. Additional security is the 1/4" solid steel plate added to the entire door for pry bar resistance. All of these features together make this safe pretty difficult to attack.
Hollon did not skimp on the fit and finish. The outside is painted a textured charcoal finish, and there is an upgraded chrome-plated package. Inside is ultra-plush, fully adjustable interior gun racking and one full-length top shelf reinforced with steel beams for maximum weight capacity. The top shelf is designed to accommodate long guns. Please read all information on the type of delivery options you have for your order. The delivery of large safes is a very sensitive operation, and we supply this information to ensure you receive the product you ordered in the best condition possible for your delivery circumstance.
Types of Delivery Services (click the links below to skip to each section):
Small Package Delivery (150 lbs. and Under)
Small package delivery is a free service offered by Safe & Vault Store. All packages under 150 pounds are delivered to your home or business front door via UPS or FedEx during normal business hours. There is no advance appointment call made. No signature is required.
Changing Your Address
Additional fees may apply if you need to change your address after your order has shipped. Please note that changing the address with FedEx is not guaranteed. You can create a FedEx Delivery Manager account, which allows you to change the shipping method to a FedEx Hold Location (ex: local Walgreens).
Curbside Delivery (Over 150 lbs.)
Curbside delivery is a free service offered by Safe & Vault Store. Any shipments 151 pounds or larger shipments are delivered curbside via freight companies such as YRC, XPO, USF Reddaway, or other common freight carriers. The safes and vault doors are delivered on a wood pallet, curbside, where your driveway meets the street. The freight company will call to schedule an appointment within an 8-hour window. IMPORTANT NOTE: The delivery staff will not take your safe or vault door any further than curbside if this is the service you order. Freight companies will not deliver to your driveway on a dead-end road or Cul de Sac. They will only deliver to County, City, or State roads. They will not deliver to a congested downtown area without parking or a Doorman Condo or Apartment. Garage/Threshold Delivery or White Glove Inside Delivery are available for an extra charge if you need special delivery services. Garage delivery is not guaranteed. It is not always available in all areas and is ultimately at the driver's discretion to complete. If the driver feels unsafe, the freight company will not be able to complete the garage delivery and will leave the safe at your curbside. We will refund you in full for the garage delivery if it cannot be completed. If you want to order garage delivery and are concerned that you might not meet the requirements, please call us at 800-207-2259 so we can determine the best option.
Safes Over 2000 lbs.
Our trucks with liftgates can only handle safes up to 2000 pounds. Safes over 2000 pounds require a forklift or loading dock on site to receive them. If you do not have either of these items, we can recommend a company in your local area that can deliver your safe inside.
